Asia session. This session is perfect for those that have a day job but truly want to “test their mettle” with day trading. The fact is, with the HVMM, there is no need to test the mettle. The HVMM is no joke. Once you have mastered the system, mastered your trade plan and can continually adhere to your plan, day trading does not have to be elusive for you.
We haven’t looked at this session at all but is a session that I enjoy trading. I use a trimmed down POQ (1 win and positive), start at 7 pm New York time and wrap it all up by 9:30 p.m. at the latest. History however has shown that trading for the entire session is abnormal. The win usually comes pretty quick. As well, during this timeframe, you can take a look at the UST to see if a setup for a swing is forming. There are other pairs you can trade this session but to be honest, I have not really looked at them with any detail. The EURJPY has been the choice for me. This video will also look at range bars. Quite a few traders, after backtesting, are jumping over to the range bars. Once again, as in other videos, look for the important adjustments around swing levels, 50 levels and the ever powerful 00 levels.
This video is going to take a walk throught the EURUSD in both the London session and the U.S. session. I am introducing a few filters that were discussed in the owners webinar specifically…directional trades and setups inside live trades. As well, instead of using the standard tick bars, I break out the range bars. They are being used in my day to day trading. A quick summary of this video is 63 total pips for a tidy $630.00 mid week profit using 1 standard contract. Look for adjustments and re-entry trades in this video.
